batsman of the tournament
The batsman of the tournament will be determined using the following 3 criteria:
Total number of runs scored
Average runs scored
Average strike rate
It will work as follows:
Each player will be given a ranking number between 1 and 72.
The player will be ranked according to each of the above criteria.
These three totals will then be added together to give them an accumulated
ranking. From this accumulated ranking, the batsman with the lowest
ranking will be declared the batsman of the tournament.
What if there is a tie?
If two or more players are ranked equally, the following order of precedence will be used to determine the winner:
The batsman with the highest average wins
or if there is still a tie
The batsman with the least number of times out wins
or if there is still a tie
The batsman with the highest strike rate wins
or if there is still a tie
The batsman with the highest number of runs wins
